MANLIUS, N.Y. — A week and a half into the ongoing water emergency, Onondaga County will begin distributing bottled water from Fayetteville-Manlius High School.
In a statement to the press, the county executive says “conservation efforts continue to be successful and water levels remain stable.” But to keep resources steady and bolster residents’ efforts, the county has chosen to dip into its stores. About 4,000 cases of water will be available, though more may be offered at a later date.
The distribution will take place on Friday, January 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Drivers are asked to approach the high school from North Eagle Village Road, then turn onto Pride Lane and continue south, following directions…
