LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A destroyed north Lincoln garage caught fire again on Thursday due to illegal New Year’s fireworks.
The fire was reported at 11:16 a.m. near Potter and North 31st streets.
According to LFR, the garage had previously been destroyed after a fire back in August 2025. The roof of the remnants caught fire after a New Year’s firework landed on the roof and smoldered before igniting.
