Arkansas posted year-over-year declines in job openings and new hires in October, but posted a big drop in total job separations, according to Tuesday’s (Dec. 30) Jobs Opening and Labor Turnover report from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
October job openings in Arkansas were an estimated 73,000, down 6.4% compared with 78,000 in October 2024. The October hires were up from 70,000 in September. U.S. job openings rose 0.7% in October compared with October 2024.
