LUBBOCK, Texas- When Noleter and Johncarlos Miller woke up at 3 a.m. to begin their journey from North Carolina to Florida this week, they were operating on a familiar adrenaline.
By the time they reached their hotel in Miami, a series of fire alarms forced five separate evacuations, leaving them exhausted before the festivities even began. But for the Millers, “trouble finds us and it always comes out good.” said Noleter.
The commitment to their son, Texas Tech senior tight end Johncarlos Miller II, is permanent. Back in October, the Greensboro couple made headlines for their “no excuses” travel schedule.
