SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – With 2026 just hours away, people with remaining funds in their flexible spending accounts are running out of time to use the money before it potentially expires.
Pharmacist Tom Mengwasser of Alps Pharmacy said he has seen people come to the pharmacy looking to spend leftover FSA funds.
“We did get a few people that come up with like, I got 100 bucks left, I did the math wrong or something, what can I buy with my 100 bucks on my FSA?” Mengwasser said. “So we’ll work with them to try to get them some pain relievers over the counter, or some vitamins over the counter, or something like that.”…
