Springfield bars prepare safety measures for New Year’s Eve celebrations

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Downtown Springfield Bar staff implemented safety protocols for New Year’s Eve celebrations downtown to ensure responsible service during one of the busiest nights of the year.

Bartenders and servers are trained to recognize signs of intoxication to prevent over-serving patrons. Staff members look for impaired speech and movement as key indicators.
