TEA, S.D. (KELO) — A structure fire kept multiple crews busy overnight in Tea.
Firefighters were called to a home in the southern part of town just after 11:00 last night.When crews arrived, flames were visible coming from both the house and the garage.Firefighters from Tea and Harrisburg worked quickly to knock down the fire and prevent it from spreading.Everyone inside the home including pets were able to get out safely.Crews remained on scene for several hours, extinguishing hot spots and cleaning up.North Devon was closed between Ivy Road and Penny Street, but the road has since reopened.The cause of the fire has not been released.
