INWOOD—A 25-year-old Hawarden man was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, near Inwood on a charge of first-offense operating while under the influence.
The arrest of Chase Michael Ranschau stemmed from a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe being found in the ditch along Highway 182 next to the property of the West Lyon School District about five miles north of Inwood, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
It was determined Ranschau was driving the vehicle in the parking lot and went into the ditch, according to the incident report…
