Loyal Dog Saves 82-Year-Old Missing Woman After She Got Lost in the Woods at Night in ‘Near Freezing’ Temperature

An Oregon woman has her loyal dog to thank for saving her life.

On Dec. 29, Lane County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) posted that Elmira resident Karen Joyce Davis had gone missing in that afternoon while walking with her dog, a blue heeler cattle dog named Cami, in the woods.

The scary incident soon turned into a wholesome story after the LCSO updated its post to report that Davis had been found “in rough terrain.”…
