The New Year arrived with a very special first hello in northern Nevada.
Reno’s first baby of 2026 was born early Thursday morning at Renown Regional Medical Center, officially kicking off the year with smiles and celebration. Maria Jasso Rodriguez welcomed her baby girl, Renata, at 1:50 a.m. in the Labor and Delivery Childbirth Center.
