Post Falls man sentenced to prison following eighth lifetime DUI

POST FALLS, ID — A 69-year-old Post Falls man has been sentenced to prison after being convicted of felony driving under the influence for the eighth time in his lifetime.

According to the Kootenai County Prosecutor’s Office, Jeffrey Allen Jeske was found guilty of felony DUI stemming from a March 1, 2025, traffic stop. Jeske was pulled over after 10 p.m. for driving without headlights or taillights. During the stop, officers observed several signs of intoxication and began a DUI investigation.

According to court records, Jeske refused to perform field sobriety evaluations and declined to provide a breath sample. After officers obtained a search warrant, a blood sample was collected, revealing a blood alcohol concentration of 0.157 — nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08.
