TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Tucson’s first outdoor safe sleeping site, STAR Village, has served 37 women in its first three months of operation, with six individuals moving on to more permanent housing arrangements, according to the city’s most recent numbers.
“STAR Village really is about really providing that front-line engagement and stabilization,” Tucson’s Assistant City Manager, Liz Morales, said.
