HONOLULU (KHON2) — Hawaiʻi rang in the new year with a total of five potential fireworks-related injuries that occurred in Honolulu County.
Overnight, Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to three separate incidents, all of which are suspected to have been fireworks-related.
The first EMS call was to Nana Place in Kaneʻohe at 10:35 p.m. on Dec. 31, where first responders received a call of an injures 7-year-old girl.
