ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — While over 80 eateries opened in the Capital Region in 2025, several restaurants are planning to open in the upcoming year. Here are the restaurant openings to look out for in 2026.

  • Elody, 54 Phila Street Saratoga Springs
    • Set to open on January 2
  • Bloom Boutique Bar & Eatery, 563 New Scotland Avenue in Albany
    • Set to open on January 13
  • The Greenhouse Social Club at La Serre, 14 Green Street in Albany
    • Set to open for select events starting in January
  • Hana Japanese Steakhouse, 579 Troy Schenectady Road in Latham
    • Looking to open before the end of February
  • Shack Shack, Stuyvesant Plaza in Guilderland
    • Expected to open in early 2026
  • Insomnia Cookies, 1211 Western Avenue in Albany
    • Expected to open this winter
  • KPOT, Colonie Center
    • Set to open in mid-2026
  • First + Adams, 198 First Street in Troy
    • Expected to open in mid-2026
  • JAJA, 466 Madison Avenue in Albany
    • No opening date set yet
  • Bud’s Glenville, 208 Sacandaga Road in Glenville
    • No opening date set yet
  • Bitchin’ Donuts, 2008 Central Avenue in Colonie
    • No set opening date yet
  • Moreau Tavern, 1000 Saratoga Road in Moreau
    • No set opening date yet as they are working to install a new septic system
  • Tipsy Moose Tap & Tavern in Delmar
    • No opening date set
