TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended its search for a 77-year-old woman who went overboard a Holland America cruise ship that sailed out of Florida.
Officials said the woman was reported overboard the Nieuw Statendam about 40 miles northeast of Sabana, Cuba on New Year’s Day.
Multiple crews were out searching for her Thursday by sea and air. They covered 690 square miles, and after about eight hours, decided to call off the search…
