Compassionate Connections Home Care recently brought together caregivers from across Lake, Sumter and Marion counties for the Caregiver Appreciation Gala, an evening dedicated to recognizing those who quietly and consistently make a difference in the lives of seniors and veterans throughout the region.
Founder and CEO Compassionate Connections Home Care, Tasia Drayton, says the Caregiver Appreciation Gala is rooted in both gratitude and personal experience.
Before becoming a business owner nine years ago, Tasia began her career as a CNA and caregiver, giving her firsthand insight into the emotional and physical demands of the profession and how often that work goes unrecognized. She built the company with a promise that caregivers would never be invisible, a commitment reflected in the gala, now in its second year.
