INDIANAPOLIS– Getting out of jail on bond in Marion County in 2026 will be significantly more expensive than it was before, following major changes to the county’s bail structure.
The new bond rules drawn up for this year have doubled or tripled the cost of getting out of jail while awaiting trial.
While those increases will be welcomed by some, others feel putting a price tag on justice isn’t fair to everyone…
