Shots fired at Cranston home on New Year’s Eve

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after gunshots were fired into a Cranston woman’s home on New Year’s Eve.

Cranston Police Col. Michael Winquist confirmed officers were called to the Pleasant Street home Wednesday night by a resident who believed shots had been fired at her house.

No one was injured, but Winquist said officers found shell casings in the street and rounds lodged into the side of the home…
