A highly anticipated late-night outpost of Taco Bell Cantina has arrived at San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf.
Taco Bell Cantina, a cult favorite for its tacos, boozy slushies and late hours, opened Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 333 Jefferson St., a Port of San Francisco representative confirmed. It’s open from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.
A Dec. 30 Reddit post, with a photograph showing the new outpost’s busy dining room with TVs and alcohol behind the counter, drew excitement on social media. Cantinas serve largely the same food as a normal Taco Bell, but are especially beloved for the additions of beer, wine and alcoholic slushies, available in enormous, carnival-style twisted drinking vessels.
