Richmond Hill family donates 1.37 tons of food through Christmas light show

Richmond Hill, Ga. (WTOC) – Going Griswold Holiday Light show has wrapped up with a big impact for neighbors in need. The Richmond Hill family, after running the show nightly from Thanksgiving through January 1, has collected 2,740.9 pounds of food – that’s 1.37 tons – along with $500 for The Way Station Food Pantry.

The family’s Facebook update thanked the community for its generosity, sharing that the donations were “so appreciated” by the organization.
