Rochester residents dig out after heavy snowfall, urged to stay safe on roads and walkways

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Many Rochester residents started the new year shoveling driveways and clearing snow after a recent heavy snowfall blanketed the region.

Harold Jasper of THM Property Maintenance LLC said conditions have been challenging, especially near the airport.

“Well, it’s been a little rough around the airport areas, and here we have the area, and I come back to the city, so it’s like it’s still steady snow here,” Jasper said. “It’s been rough, but this is my job.”…
