BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Louisiana Old Governor’s Mansion will unveil a new historical exhibition on Sunday.
Secretary of State Nancy Landry announced the new “Three Decades of Change” exhibit will open to the public from noon to 4 p.m. on Jan. 4 as part of the mansion’s participation in the First Free Sunday initiative.
The new exhibit aims to highlight important moments in Louisiana’s emergence on the national stage.

“In just 30 years, the state underwent a massive transformation under the leadership of nine governors. These men, regardless of the length of their terms of office, guided Louisiana through some of the most challenging days in the state’s and the nation’s history,” a news release from the mansion said…
