AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — According to court documents filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas Amarillo Division, the man accused of planning to attack people at the 4th of July parade in Canyon last year will undergo a psychological evaluation later this month.
As previously reported by Myhighplains.com, Kevin Hunt was scheduled for a competency hearing on Dec. 22, which was reset for a later date.

According to documents, following Hunt’s team’s filing for an extension, the government issued a notice of hearing for the evaluation to be held in the U.S. Courthouse on Jan. 7.
