CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — With the January property tax deadline approaching, Nueces County officials are warning residents to plan ahead as heavy crowds and long lines are expected at the county courthouse.
County offices were closed Wednesday for the New Year’s holiday but will reopen Thursday as business returns to normal. Officials say foot traffic is expected to increase steadily throughout the month as the Jan. 31 deadline nears.
