Two pedestrians, two motorcyclists among Arkansas highway fatalities during holiday week

Arkansas State Police issued reports on Thursday, January 1, 2026 regarding several motor vehicle fatalities across the state during the waning days of 2025. The deaths included two vehicle-pedestrian accidents and two motorcycle wrecks – one of those wrecks was caused by a deer striking a motorcycle.

Maxwell Adam Henson, 35, of Fayetteville was killed in a pedestrian-vehicle collision at 6:28 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the intersection of North Gregg Avenue and North Quality Lane in Fayetteville.
