Tulsa Boasts Animal Welfare Success and Urban Development Progress in 2025 Year-End Wrap-Up

The City of Tulsa released a year-end report highlighting improvements in animal welfare, urban development, and public safety, along with increased digital engagement.

According to the City of Tulsa’s website, Tulsa’s shelter served over 8,865 animals, with adoptions up 8% and euthanasia down 27%, bringing the save rate to nearly 80%. Programs like spay/neuter vouchers and pet microchipping at fire departments have helped improve animal welfare and owner reunification.
