EUGENE, Ore. – The Eugene Public Library hosted a lively “New Year’s at Noon” celebration on New Years Eve for families looking to ring in the new year without staying up late.
From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 31, the downtown Eugene Public Library welcomed kids and families to a free, bilingual party filled with games, crafts, face painting, dancing, and a balloon drop.
“This is one of my favorite events to do because I think New Year’s Eve is a time where a lot of families are together, but there’s not a lot of kid-friendly events,” Heather Sears of the Eugene Public Library said. “I just love how much community comes and how you just get kids of all ages and families just having fun and a really great time.”…
