Renoites are getting one last chance to eat potato olés – at least without a 6.5-hour drive.
Nevada’s only Taco John’s location is closing today, Dec. 31, after nearly 50 years in business. The co-owners of the 770 S. Wells Ave. fast food Mexican restaurant, Julie Ann Raum and Scotty Arndt, told the Reno Gazette Journal earlier this month that they are closing because of a variety of factors.
Raum and Arndt noted rising supply costs after the COVID-19 pandemic as a significant reason for the closure. They also pointed to the constant demands of operating a restaurant and the distance from the chain’s headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri…
