LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Elon Musk’s Vegas Loop is now taking cars from tunnels to the streets as part of a new service to Harry Reid International Airport.
The Boring Company announced the service, currently operating in limited capacity, on social media.

The Nevada Transportation Authority approved the loop’s fleet to go above-ground in October. Because the loop’s planned airport tunnels are not complete, drivers bring passengers to the airport on surface streets after a brief tunnel ride.
Rides to the airport cost $12 per person and are available from 10:00 am to 1:00 am the next day. While the cost and availability may appeal to customers, rideshare drivers tell 8 News Now they fear the Vegas Loop hitting the streets will take over their market space…
