JAN. 2 POLICE BLOTTER: Assaults and robberies reported in Rosedale, Essex, and Middle River

NOTTINGHAM, MD—The Baltimore County Police Department has reported a series of violent incidents occurring over the final weeks of December, including multiple armed robberies and assaults across the Rosedale, Essex, and Middle River areas.

Armed Robberies in Essex and Middle River

Police are investigating three separate robberies reported in the eastern part of the county. The first occurred on December 22 at approximately 3 p.m. near North Woodard Drive and Eastern Boulevard in Essex. In that incident, four suspects reportedly used a weapon to rob a victim.

A second robbery involving a weapon took place on December 28 in Middle River. At approximately 6:15 p.m., multiple unknown suspects targeted a victim in the 600 block of Compass Road before fleeing the scene on foot.

The most recent robbery occurred on December 29 in the unit block of Candry Terrace in Essex. At approximately 3 p.m., a known juvenile subject allegedly assaulted a victim and stole personal property.

Violent Assaults and Gunfire

Two serious assaults were also recorded in the department’s crime blotter. On Christmas Day, an unknown subject struck a victim in the upper body with a weapon in the 1200 block of Deanwood Road in Hillendale. The suspect managed to flee the scene before officers arrived…
