Monmouth County Man Accused Of Abusing Teen Workers

PENNSYLVANIA – A Monmouth County man is facing a series of criminal charges after investigators say he exploited his position as a restaurant manager to sexually abuse and groom teenage employees in Bucks County.

Authorities allege Richard “Ricky” Brooks, 33, of Freehold, repeatedly targeted underage boys while supervising staff at a Saladworks in Plumstead Township, PA and a Wendy’s in Doylestown over several years. Prosecutors have charged Brooks with corruption of minors, indecent assault and offenses related to the distribution of controlled substances.

The case emerged earlier this year when Plumstead Township police received a ChildLine report alleging inappropriate conduct by a former manager at the Saladworks located in the Crosskeys Shopping Center.
