KEEZLETOWN, VA (Rocktown Now) – A kennel went up in flames earlier today in Rockingham County.
At 7:28 this morning (January 2nd), Battalion Chief Clay Shiflet reported that crews were dispatched to the 3,000 block of Haines Quarter Road in Keezletown to find a dog kennel ablaze.
“Crews pulled out probably 5 or 6 dogs that weren’t already out, that the homeowners had gotten out, so they went in and pulled out a couple,” Shiflet said. “We were able to save all but one dog.”…
