Walters has served as superintendent designee since Sept. 2, 2025, and will continue to lead the district while the board conducts its search for a permanent superintendent. The board has up to 180 days to fill the vacancy.
Walters said his focus as interim superintendent will remain centered on students and the district’s academic priorities.
