FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Despite the cold start to 2026, we will be on a gradual warmup over the next few days. Highs will stay in the upper 20s for today and tomorrow, as we return to the 30s over the weekend. Partly to mostly cloudy skies will be the theme of the next 5-6 days.
Wind settles down this weekend and we will stay mainly dry with the only chance for any kind of precipitation being late Sunday night, where a clipper could bring a few flurries north of Fort Wayne. The only other chance we will have for precipitation will be rain by the end of next week. As temperatures push into the mid 40s through the middle of next week, rain showers arrive by Thursday and could last into Friday…
