INDIANAPOLIS — An investigation is underway after a woman was critically injured when an SUV struck her while she was crossing the road on the west side of Indianapolis early Thursday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, police are investigating an incident where a silver SUV allegedly struck a woman while traveling east on West 10th Street around 12:18 a.m.
The woman was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, and the driver of the vehicle remained on scene. The driver was transported to a hospital for a blood draw, where they showed no signs of impairment…
