KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The last day of 2025 in West Michigan saw a return to snow showers as another fast-moving disturbance moved across the Mitten. Another 1-3″ of accumulation is possible through midnight south of I-96. Along and north of that interstate, snow showers diminish rapidly during the evening, and should be gone by midnight. As a result, a Winter Weather Advisory that was set to expire at 7 a.m. Thursday will be canceled early, at 10 p.m. for Ottawa, Kent, Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana counties. The Advisory remains through 7 a.m. Thursday for Allegan, Barry, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren counties.
