The Florida State starting offensive line in 2025 consisted of all transfer portal players. FSU offensive line coach Herb Hand added four players from the transfer portal who became starters, a few more transfer portal holdovers from the previous recruiting cycle.
That FSU offensive line was among the best in the ACC, and lightyears better than any FSU offensive line in recent memory. All of those transfer portal guys exhausted eligibility, and the coaching staff has had a mass exodus of players from the former offensive line coach to enter the transfer portal.
That means they will concentrate on developing the handful of high school guys remaining, while using the transfer portal to compete on the field at the same time. The four guys FSU signed from the portal last year were big, and the early transfer portal targets look to be in the same mold:…
