The future of the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum in Canyon continues to be a hot topic, especially following the recent ending of a long-time partnership with West Texas A&M University.
City of Canyon Commissioners and Mayor Gary Hinders will listen to public comments and discuss the future of the museum Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. at the City of Canyon Chambers on the second floor of City Hall at 3rd Avenue and 16th Street.
The discussion of the museum is the 12th item on the lengthy City of Canyon Commission agenda, but probably the most important as talks around town are not in favor of relocating the artifacts and collection from the museum…
