MADISON, Wis. — Tony Evers is set to give his last State of the State Address in February, paving the way for the upcoming 47th Wisconsin governor.
Since Gov. Evers announced on July 24, 2025, that he would not run for re-election, nine Democrats and three Republicans have entered the race, making this an important contest in the battleground state. Two politicians have dropped from the race: Republican businessman Bill Berrien and Democratic Ryan Strand.
