Spread the love
Stray Rescue of St. Louis didn’t expect ringing in the New Year with more gun violence. Early Thursday morning officers were called to a scene where a dog was found having been shot at least two times.
Officer Ottengheime and Officer Stevens rushed the dog to the rescue, carefully carried him in, and they quickly fell in love. The dog was named Wallace. Local police already know, based on years of kindness and compassion, that Stray Rescue of St. Louis will always step up to help when an animal is in need.
And we know when we need help on a rescue, they will show up for us. Even on their day off.
After being weighed in, Dr. Oliver proceeded with Wallace’s physical examination after sedating him…
