Resolution Maker and Breaker 5K (Thu. 1, Sports)
Whether your New Year’s Resolution is to get healthier or, I don’t know, make your legs hurt more, Canteen Brewhouse (2381 Aztec Rd. NE) has got you covered. Start off Thursday, Jan. 1 with the Resolution Maker and Breaker 5K. Crush your resolution early with a 5K run and celebrate with a cold pint of beer afterward. Registration begins at noon. The run starts at 1 p.m. No need to pre-register, just sign up on race day and pay the $30 registration fee. You get in a nice run, a pint, official Canteen swag and some delicious New Year’s Day eats. Proceeds go to benefit the Agora Crisis Center.
