Shari’s Café and Pies closed all 42 of its Oregon locations in 2024.
Following the shuttering of those restaurants, the Eugene-Springfield locations have been left vacant, accumulating graffiti on plywood-covered windows and doors and leaving years’ worth of early morning coffee meetings and late-night sweet treats to fade into memory.
After the community has spent over a year mourning the loss of a beloved chain restaurant known for its top-notch pies, vacant locations are starting to see progress toward repurposing those spaces…
