TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A New Year’s Eve stabbing near a bus stop on Speedway near Alvernon is not keeping people from using public transit.
“Shocking, because I just moved over here. I’m off of Alvernon, and I just been taking this bus stop here just recently. So that’s pretty shocking,” Sun Tran rider Jorge Avila said.
“It’s a necessity. It’s one of those things where I feel like it’s, you know, you’re at the wrong place, at the wrong time type of thing,” Avila said, “I have to take this, you know, I have to take this to go somewhere.”…
