There were 29+ Oregon breweries, taprooms, bottleshops, and cidery that closed in 2025 which was significantly less than the preceding few years. Despite the optics of such a large number of closures, only 9 actual breweries closed, an additional 4 if you count contract beer brands and more if you count satellite taprooms. In total it’s far less than the 35+ that closed in 2024 of which 22 were actual beer breweries equipment and all.
Bunk Beer Hall at Bridgeport Village (Portland)
The acclaimed sandwich masters Bunk Sandwiches expanded to the Bridgeport Village shopping center in December 2021 with the Bunk Beer Hall. The new location marked a shift in the Bunk brand which was established as a gritty, almost punk rock style hole-in-the-wall with to-go sandwiches on SE Belmont. Bunk Beer Hall took on a clean sports bar aesthetic with TV’s, a patio, and an arcade, plus 20 taps of draft beer, cider, cocktails and the same great sandwiches.
