CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating after a Wooster teen riding a bicycle was killed in a Wayne County crash on Friday evening.
The crash happened at 5:43 p.m. on Smithville Western Road, near Ogden Road, in Chester Township.
According to investigators, the driver of a 2023 Ram 1500 was heading east on Smithville Western Road when they hit a 14-year-old boy riding a bike. The teen then went off the north side of the road.
