The Walker County Sheriff’s Office recently recognized several of its dedicated employees for their years of service and outstanding contributions to the agency in 2025.
Years of Service Awards were presented to:
- Sergeant Bruce Coker, who received the Recognition of Service Award.
- Deputy Roger Avans, honored for 25 years of service.
- Captain Richie Dye, recognized for 30 years of service.
- Detective Sergeant Walt Hensley, celebrating 35 years of service.
