NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Preliminary data from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department shows officers completed about 44.7% more traffic stops in 2025 compared to 2024.
Last year, Metro Nashville Metro Councilmember Jacob Kupin helped lead an effort urging the MNPD to crack down on major traffic violations.
