At 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 1, police responded after a man was driven to a nearby hospital by a concerned citizen after being shot at Isabella Avenue and South Orange Avenue, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda said.
The victim is in critical condition, Miranda said.
At 8:49 p.m., that evening, a 17-year-old arrived at a nearby hospital for treatment of gunshot wound to his foot, sustained at 200 Georgia King Village, Miranda said…
