ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The GoodPhone Project celebrated the expansion of free communication access in Rochester with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, unveiling three new citywide phone installations.
The new installations will allow residents to make calls across the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Funded by a grant from the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts, the phones are available to the public at no cost.
