DES MOINES, Iowa — According to AAA, Iowa now has the second lowest price per gallon of gas in the country.
AAA’s data from January 2 shows the price of gas in Iowa is on average $2.361 per gallon, with parts of the Des Moines metro having the lowest reported prices. As of Friday, the price per gallon at the QuikTrip on Ingersoll Avenue in Des Moines was $1.94 per gallon.
